Donlouco's manufacturing and engineering team analyses the drawings and all relevant details. Our engineers translate notes and specific details on drawings, and cross-reference standards and materials against what is available locally, paying special attention to making sure customer expectations are met or exceeded. All of these details are fully defined in the quotation.

Donlouco submits a quotation to the customer, in most cases within one week. The quotation includes the commercial details of our proposal, with full technical specifications of any alternatives or manufacturing proposals for the part.

We liaise with the customer to answer any questions about our proposal, including technical questions on materials, quality and the planned manufacturing processes. Donlouco always makes sure customers are completely satisfied with the details and the service they receive before moving forward.

Once the customer is happy and sends a purchase order, the PO is loaded onto our Enterprise Management System (EMS), which we use to manage every aspect of the supply chain. The EMS holds primary customer and part data, drawings, models and technical data, along with quality control records, schedules and deliveries as orders are fulfilled. These records are always available for every part and every individual shipment.

This step covers all NPI (new product introduction) stages, including sample part approval by the customer. Where tools and fixtures are needed, which is normally the case, our engineers design and build them in our own Jiashan facility, working directly with our approved forging partners and raw material suppliers where the part requires it. Tooling is complete once sample parts and pre-production batches are approved by the customer, all managed by Donlouco with no drain on your resources and no additional cost.

CNC machining runs in our own facility in Jiashan, and forged parts are produced by our approved partners under Donlouco engineering and inspection. Finishing, testing and quality control checks are all managed by our own team. No part ships without detailed inspection, and every result is recorded and supplied to the customer with each shipment.

All parts are packed in appropriate boxes and crates so shipments can be loaded into containers for transport to Europe. Donlouco consolidates its own containers on site, with flexible part mixes: multiple customer parts can be loaded into a single container, giving more versatility when scheduling deliveries.

Shipping at both ends is fully managed by Donlouco, door to door. Just as we handle consolidation into containers in China, we manage customs clearance and distribution here in Europe for delivery to your site.

We take the time to understand the nuances of each part and each customer's requirements, and all of that information is stored and managed in our EMS. That gives customers consistent supply, particularly on quality, along with reliable forecasting and long-term supply chain security.
