01
What you'll receive: Initial feasibility assessment.

The customer sends us drawings, 3D models or specifications for a quotation. This information is fully evaluated by Donlouco considering all aspects of the supply chain including the manufacturing of the part. This includes technical details like drawing details, dimension & tolerances, materials & finish. Once all of the above requirements are satisfied in full, we proceed to the next stage.

What you'll receive: Technical review & recommendations.

Donlouco's manufacturing and engineering team analyse drawings and all relevant details. Our manufacturing and engineering team translate notes and specific details on drawings but also cross-refer standards and materials to what is available locally. Paying special attention to ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded at all times. All of these details are fully defined in quotations to customers.

What you'll receive: Detailed commercial & technical quotation.

Donlouco submits a quotation to the customer, in most cases, within one week. The quotation includes commercial details of our proposal with full technical specifications of alternatives or manufacturing proposals for the part.

Commercial
Review.
Week 3

What you'll receive: Answers to all technical & commercial questions.

Liaison with customers to answer any questions they may have about our proposal. The customer can ask us any questions they may have regarding details, including any technical questions they may have around materials, quality and planned manufacturing processes. Donlouco will always ensure that customers are completely satisfied with the details and the service they receive.

Purchase
Order.
Week 4

What you'll receive: Order confirmation & full traceability in EMS.

Once the customer is happy with all the above and sends a purchase order the PO is loaded onto our internal EMS (Enterprise Management System). Our EMS is used to manage all aspects of the supply chain for our customers. The EMS includes primary customer and part data, technical data of parts, drawings, models etc which will include quality control data, schedules and deliveries to customers as orders are fulfilled. These records are always available for all parts and by individual shipments.

Engineering
& Tooling.
Week 4–8

What you'll receive: Approved samples & pre-production parts.

This step includes all of the NPI (New product introduction) stages including sample part approval by the customer. Where tools and fixtures are required to make parts, which is normally the case, Donlouco manages all of these activities directly with tooling companies, subcontractors and in some cases with raw material suppliers with no drain on resources from the customer. The tooling process is complete once sample parts and pre-production batches are complete and approved by the customer, all managed by Donlouco with no additional cost to the customer.

What you'll receive: Detailed inspection reports & quality documentation.

Donlouco manages all aspects of the production process including subcontractors, onsite manufacturing, finishing, testing and quality control checks, etc. No parts are shipped without detailed inspection and recording of results all of which are available to the customer with every shipment of parts.

Packing.

What you'll receive: Professional packaging & container consolidation.

All parts are packed in appropriate boxes and crates so that shipments can be loaded into containers for transport to Europe. Donlouco consolidates all of its own containers onsite and has endless options for part mixes and multiple customer parts can be loaded in single containers, increasing versatility and flexibility for scheduling deliveries to customers.

What you'll receive: Door-to-door delivery to your facility.

All of the shipping at both ends door-to-door, is fully managed by Donlouco. Just as we manage the consolidation into containers, we also manage the distribution here in Europe for delivery to the customer site.

Subsequent orders for repeat parts are easy with Donlouco. We take the time to clearly understand the nuances of individual parts and customer requirements.
