Donlouco Manages the Entire Supply Chain for You.
The added benefit of sourcing components from Donlouco is that we oversee the supply chain in its entirety, which includes the steady flow of consolidated shipping from China to Europe. Donlouco from its factory in the Far East can consolidate parts for shipping and manage multiple parts and customers in individual consignments - one of many value-added services that offers significant flexibility to European customers. We use our own internal Enterprise Management System (EMS) to manage all part schedules and customer deliveries, ensuring crucial components are delivered as required to the factory floor.
Cost Savings
As we ship full containers at a time, this adds to cost saving for the customer as they don't have to pay for a full container, only the space they take up. These consolidated shipments get delivered to our own warehouse in the Port of Cork before distribution to customers.
Faster Time to Market
Regular container shipments from China to Europe mean that we are able to get components delivered to your doorstep on time and on schedule. Delivery times from China are usually 6-8 weeks on the sea.
Local Hub Distribution
Donlouco has local warehousing in Ireland to manage customer requirements for Just In Time Delivery (JIT), with the added capabilities to manage supply chains and customer forecasts using our own EMS.

Part Design

Quite often customers are indirectly forced into a design solution based on existing or traditional manufacturing processes, but this can be an inefficient solution. Donlouco can review the design solution and offer more efficient and appropriate manufacturing options that best suit the customer and the market sector.

A significant worry for OEMs is the protection of their IP (Intellectual Property), and these concerns are well-founded when looking to outsource to the Far East. However many OEMs need the cost reductions to maintain margins and Donlouco is very much aware of this.
