Donlouco owns and operates its CNC machining facility in Jiashan, China, through a wholly owned local company. You get China's cost base with one Irish contract, engineering support from our head office in Cork and no trading companies or agents in between.
Most companies that "manufacture in China" buy through a broker and hope the factory behind them holds its standard. We stopped working that way. Your parts are made by our staff, on our machines, and inspected by our quality team before they ship.

The Jiashan facility is staffed by a bilingual team of engineers, operators and quality inspectors who report directly to Cork. Customer requirements go straight from our engineers to the machine, with nothing lost in translation.

We specialise in complex, customer-specific steel parts where cost matters and performance has to be guaranteed. Most of our work goes to the industrial hydraulics, automotive and equipment manufacturing sectors.

We own it. Donlouco operates its own CNC machining facility in Jiashan, China, through a wholly owned local company. Your parts are made by our staff on our machines, not subcontracted to a third-party supplier, trading company or agent.
We specialise in complex, customer-specific steel components: CNC machined parts (3, 4 and 5-axis), turned parts, forgings with secondary machining and hydraulic cylinder components such as glands, end caps, pistons, rod ends and mounts. Our customers are mainly in industrial hydraulics, automotive and equipment manufacturing.
Quality is controlled in China by Donlouco's own engineering and quality staff, who report directly to Cork. Parts are made from certified raw materials, inspected with CMM and Go/No-Go gauging, and checked before shipping. A traceability report goes with every delivery, and production runs under ISO 9001.
No. Buying directly from a Chinese factory often means full-container minimums. We consolidate several customers' orders into one container in China and ship them together, and we run both small batches and annual volumes in the hundreds of thousands.
Most of our parts ship by sea container. Because they are mostly steel, the limit is usually weight rather than volume: a 20-foot container carries about 23 tonnes and a 40-foot about 26 tonnes. We plan loads around these limits and manage freight and customs clearance through to delivery in Ireland, the UK or Europe.
Prototypes and initial samples typically take 2–4 weeks, and volume production orders 4–8 weeks, plus sea freight. Because the facility is ours, production slots go to Donlouco customers first. Just-in-time delivery is available for repeat orders.
You deal with our team in Cork, and your contract is with Donlouco Ireland Ltd, an Irish company that has been supplying OEMs since 2006. Engineering queries, scheduling and customer service are all handled from Ireland, in your time zone.
All customer designs and specifications are held in strict confidence. Because we make your parts in our own facility, your drawings stay within Donlouco and aren't passed between brokers, agents and subcontractors, which is where most IP exposure happens when sourcing from China.
